Neurostimulation: Purposeful modulation of nervous system activity using electromagnetic approaches to Neuromodulation

Neuromodulation: Alteration of nerve activity by targeted delivery of electrical/chemical stimulus to specific neurological sites in order to normalize or modulate the function of nervous tissue (International Neuromodulation Society).
